Pickering’s Gin, the award-winning Edinburgh-based gin, has signed up as a sponsor of this year’s Brodies Invitational at Gleneagles.
Pickering’s is the latest business to lend its support to the tennis legends tournament at Gleneagles Hotel on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 June, when tennis stars including former British No. 1 Tim Henman, former World No. 8 Mark Philippoussis and eight-time ATP World Tour doubles champion Colin Fleming will compete for the title of Brodies Invitational Champion.
Marcus Pickering, co-founder of Pickering’s, said: “We are honoured to sponsor this year’s Invitational. Partnering with such an iconic Scottish brand as Brodies, on such a prestige event was a no-brainer for us. We’re looking forward to showcasing our perfect serves alongside a spot of tennis.”
Matt Gammell, head distiller and co-founder of Pickering’s added: “It’s always a pleasure to work with Brodies, and when there’s the opportunity to showcase our gin to tennis legends and their fans, well it seemed an opportunity not to be missed”
Nick Scott, managing partner elect at Brodies commented: “Pickering’s is a quality Scottish brand with a great story. It’s a perfect fit for the event and I am sure Matt, Marcus and their team will bring an extra element of fun to what is already tipped to be a hugely entertaining weekend.”
