Important update

With the situation surrounding COVID-19 changing daily, and with our primary focus being the health and wellbeing of all involved, the Brodies Tennis Invitational scheduled for 11-13 June 2020 at St. George’s School for Girls in Edinburgh will not take place.

We have a responsibility to minimise any potential spread of the virus to our spectators, our colleagues, players, event partners and sponsors.

We know how much the event is enjoyed by clients and spectators alike, and for that reason we remain committed to bringing the ATP Champions Tour event to Scotland’s capital in 2021.

Please be reassured that the Brodies Tennis Invitational operates a full refund policy. If you have purchased tickets, refunds will be processed based on the event’s cancellation policy. Further information on our Event Cancellation Policy can be found below under Ticketing.

Access

Access to the venue will be via the gated entrance on Ravelston Park, just a stone’s throw from the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and via the main St George’s school entrance off Garscube Terrace, a 3 minute walk from Corstorphine Road.

By Car

The Brodies Arena is located at the heart of Edinburgh’s Murrayfield area. There is no on-site parking and furthermore, due to permit holder restrictions, there will be limited parking on the surrounding streets. As such, we would recommend making your journey to the event by public transport.

By Bus

Lothian Buses – The Brodies Arena is on the following Lothian bus routes – 12, 26 , 31 and Airlink100 all of which stop on Corstorphine Road outside the shops at Roseburn. More information can be found here.

City Link – The 900 service (Glasgow to Edinburgh) runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week and stops at Edinburgh Haymarket Station. More information can be found here or call the Citylink travel call centre on 0871 266 33333.

Edinburgh Coach Lines – Alternatively, the 13 (operated by Edinburgh Coach Lines) stops at the end of Ravelston Park.  Please note this runs from Hanover Street but only once an hour.  More information can be found here.

By Train or Tram

The Brodies Arena is located approximately one mile from Edinburgh Haymarket train station and tram stop. Further information relating to train and tram times can be found here and here.

From Edinburgh Airport

The Brodies Arena is located approximately 6.5 miles from Edinburgh Airport. Directions can be found here.

Booking access tickets and wheelchair spaces

A limited number of accessible seats and wheelchair spaces are available on each day of the event. To book, please call 0131 656 3794 – our lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Booking tickets in person

Subject to availability, a limited number of tickets may be available to purchase on the door. We would strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Booking tickets online

All tickets are purchasable through our ticketing partner, Eventbrite. If you are experiencing difficulty purchasing tickets online please contact their customer service team here.

In order to gain access to the event you must be able to present either a digital ticket or a printed copy of your tickets. All tickets will be scanned upon arrival at the arena.

Children’s tickets and babes in arms

Children (ages 5 years to 15 years inclusive) shall require their own ticket. Babes in arms and toddlers shall not be admitted to the event as it is not deemed appropriate for children under 5 years old. Children must be supervised at all times and supervision of children shall be by not less than 1 adult per 3 children.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are not available to purchase at this event.

Missing, lost or stolen tickets

If you have not received your tickets on the same day as purchase, lost your tickets or suspect your tickets have been stolen please contact us via email at tennis@brodies.com.

Receiving tickets

All tickets will be sent within 24 hours of purchase by our ticketing partner, Eventbrite, to the email address used to register during checkout. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find them in your inbox.

Ticket types

For each session there are 3 types of ticket available, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Each session requires a separate ticket per person to be purchased in order to gain entry.

Customer Cancellation – Refund and exchange policy

All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Event Cancellation Policy

When booking a ticket to attend the Brodies Tennis Invitational through our website you should do so in the complete confidence that if the event is ever cancelled by us in advance you will be issued with an automatic full refund.

Ticket holders can be assured that our standard policy means that tickets purchased for The Brodies Tennis Invitational are refundable in the event of the tournament not taking place. If tickets were purchased in advance via the ticket hotline or online, a refund will be made to the original payment method and most can be expected within 14 days.

SEE it, SAY it, SORTED.

In order to prevent large queues and delays in getting in to the venue, please allow plenty of time for extra security measures.

Unnecessary items are not permitted in the arena and there are no storage facilities for luggage or large items.

Bags larger than A4 size (30cm x 42cm) are not permitted. Do not leave bags unattended and do not agree to look after anyone else’s bags if you don’t know them.

If you spot someone acting suspiciously, please report it to security or event staff immediately.

If you believe there to be an emergency with immediate risk, call 999 and alert a member of staff.

During an incident, please listen and follow the directions of staff and safety announcements.

Acceptable forms of ID

Challenge 25 will be in operation at this event. For the purchase of alcohol only the following forms of ID will be accepted by outlets; UK Passport, UK Driving Licence or a PASS accredited proof of age card.

Age restrictions

Children under 5 years old shall not be admitted to the event.

Animals

No animals except for guide dogs or assistance dogs will be permitted within the arena.

ATMs and cash machines

The closest cash machines to the Brodies Arena are located at Tesco Express at Haymarket Terrace, and Haymarket Station, Please note that there are no ATMs on site.

Food and drink

No food or drink is permitted to be brought in to the venue, except for one 500ml sealed bottle of water per person. No glass is permitted in the arena. There will be several food and drink outlets providing light snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

Dress code

There is no formal dress code for the event, but please note that domestic, international football or rugby colours are not permitted. Costumes or items of clothing deemed controversial or offensive are not permitted.

Re-entry

Should you wish to leave and re-enter the venue during the event, please keep your ticket with you. We cannot guarantee re-entry to the venue if you are unable to present a valid ticket.

Bags

Cameras and Video Equipment

The use of professional equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital, electronic or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data inside the event venue whilst in play is strictly forbidden.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes within the arena and the wider site is not permitted at any time. You must leave the grounds if you wish to smoke / vape and have your ticket with you to gain re-entry to the event.

Can I pass on a request to a player?

We are unable to facilitate the passing of messages or other items to players. We are also unable to facilitate player meet and greets.
